Kevin is a graduate of the University of Michigan where he received a degree in English and training in database and web application design, usability, contextual design, and human factors engineering at the School of Information. His specialization was in Human Computer Interaction. He has been building websites and apps for a decade using a full stack of open source tools including apache, PHP, MySQL, and a suite of front end technologies and techniques like jQuery, AJAX, json, CSS3, HTML5, and more recently AngularJS.
He has leveraged these tools to build solutions in a number of industries: a project management tool for a small Tennessee construction company; CMS solutions for countless companies, both large and small; a mobile app review system; and location/branch management systems for a roofing company, an industrial furnace company, a mobile drug testing company, and a water softener company.
Kevin can create dynamic web applications using popular MVC frameworks like CodeIgniter, Yii, and Larvel and his experience building websites and web applications is equally broad having brought sites to life using content management systems including WordPress, Joomla!, Drupal, and Concrete 5. If you’re in a pinch, Kevin can even help with Flash animations.
