Ol’ Noah Webster, he of dictionary fame, suggests that professional can mean a couple of things. First: “exhibiting a courteous, conscientious, and generally businesslike manner in the workplace.” From the first phone call you’ll be able to taste the courtesy of Excelisys’ FileMaker professionals. Webster’s second definition of “professional” reads: “participating for gain or livelihood in an activity or field of endeavor often engaged in by amateurs.” While “participating for gain” sounds a little ruthless for our blood, we are the crew that clients call to help remedy the missteps of amateurs who have provided them with less–than–stellar solutions.

In other words, for Excelisys, being FileMaker professionals means that we work efficiently, creatively and courteously on behalf of our clients. It means that we are not order–takers, but counsel–providers.
