I am extremely happy with my decision to go with Execlisys. I have been working with Doug West for the past few weeks and find him to be very knowledgeable and a wonderful communicator. He is satisfying all my needs for this Database project.  We have built a very productive relationship when it comes to my BizTracker file. I work with his improved BizTracker file for a couple of days,  then I create a series of questions or or ask him to explain why some procedure works or doesn't work.  He replies, always within the same day, and sometimes within the same hour. My questions are answered my confusion with an issue is clarified and I feel ready to move on with more improvements. My BizTracker file is becoming so customized that I find myself excited to work with it. When I look back at over 4 pages of correspondence on basecamp I am amazed at how far we have come on this project.

My small company has continued to expand, and we recently needed to create a new website. After talking to several local website developers, each of whom had their own limitations, backlog of work, and overpriced quotes, I asked Excelisys if they could design a website for me since they had already built a FileMaker database program for me the previous year. The site was built exactly how I asked, with a very quick turnaround time. Delta Alpha Publishing wanted to convert the printed version of its acclaimed Encyclopedia of Real Estate Terms into an ONLINE reference work that is easy to search. After more than five years talking or working with other firms it proved difficult to get a working version to Delta Alpha’s specification. However, Excelisys took a difficult project and professionally turned it into a working online Encyclopedia. It was a pleasure working with a firm whose approach was always ‘can do’.

I am very pleased with the progress we are making using FM and with working with Geoff. He is fantastic in all areas mentioned below. Our biggest problem is training the users to learn the system, which I have learned in my career is always the biggest challenge.  Folks here either think it is slow, cumbersome, can’t be flexible to our needs. I appreciate the system you have of letting my account balance sit idle until I really need it. We are cracking the user barrier slowly, particularly with some training from Geoff about using the list function instead of building “reports.”  I think that FM and the Excelisys choice was a good one for Cowhorn. No regrets looking back and optimistic that future needs will be met easily.

My relationship with the Founder of Excelisys goes back 20+ years. I have witnessed first–hand the creative vision and growth of an Industry leader in Database Solution Development and Deployment. I sought out Christo and his team for my meager project of an Intra–net Sales Automation solution. We photograph very large competitions nationwide and we needed a system that was easy to use and rock solid, as it was to be setup and torn down in 30 cities over a six-month period. But most importantly, for a small businessman on a tight budget, I needed to realize a significant increase in operating profit to justify this investment.

Kurt Knippel and Cesar Morales are amazing to work with, especially for someone with all the demands in the world, but with very little knowledge of actual solution building protocols and limitations. I have been known to be impatient and both Cesar and Kurt held my hand through the entire process, all the while wondering why Christo had put up with a “friend like me” for so many years. I demanded; they produced. I was impatient; they were soothing and methodical. Biggest bottom line: SALES INCREASED!

Regarding Christo and the Excelisys team ... These guys are the absolute best. They are well experienced in the FileMaker world, have direct ties with the FileMaker Solutions Alliance, know most of the FSA members and work directly with FileMaker, Inc. management. They personally know and associate with other world-renown FileMaker professionals and really know what is going on technically with FileMaker Pro... really good programmers. I have worked with Christo and Geoff Ryle (and others) that are or have been part of the Excelisys team for about 5 years now. I can tell you that, however you found them, you have found the most honest, most competent, most reliable FileMaker developers you could hope to work with. The work they have done for me has been reliable, on time and extremely well designed. They created a school district maintenance manage and maintenance tracking system for my company... Their cost and professionalism has also been just the best. You can completely trust them with your solution. They will design the proper code under the hood, make the interface the best around and follow your directions. The follow up and attention to detail has been solid as well.

We are very pleased with the website that Excelisys built for us. Our initial idea of a small website and a simple project estimator was wonderfully transformed by the Excelisys team into an elegant, easy-to-navigate, fast, yet functional one. On top of everything, we now have the best project estimator in the industry. The people working at Excelisys have the ability to keep a firm grip on reality while coming up with solutions to imaginative goals. There was no wasted motion in my opinion, which is based upon the fact that they accomplished our goals in one third the time that two other competitors quoted us. We retained Excelisys in panic mode! We had a new website being designed by another consultant and it was a disaster. I contacted Christo and informed him of our situation and he assigned us to a great production team that assisted us every step of the way.
