The original website was showing its age, with a non-responsive website design and mostly static content. The site needed to provide a better mobile experience and adhere to Google’s new rules. It also needed more dynamic content for showcasing our work, customer feedback, and our awesome blog posts.
We chose to go with WordPress, and then customized the heck out of that WordPress template we purchased from ThemeForest. Almost all content was rewritten, new imagery was incorporated, a dynamic portfolio/case study plug-in was developed. We also used includes for repeated content, and blog posts of our Tips-n-Tricks were integrated to populate relative pages. Planning the navigation for our custom website design proved to be the hardest challenge – because of our diverse technical chops and the services offered, we needed those topics to relate and allow the content to expand and seem “on-purpose” as additional services and technologies were added. SEO played a HUGE role in a lot of our decisions – hoping our decisions on content and navigation will better our organic search results.
A more pleasing and dynamic custom website design. This new custom website design enables our potential clients to find what they need when making an informed decision to hire us for our custom development services for their web, mobile, and desktop software solutions. And now our site is 100% responsive for use on any mobile device!
